Our School

The Bramble Nature Campus is a public school campus within Cincinnati Public Schools, located in the Madisonville neighborhood. Bramble is home to two distinct educational programs, each designed to support children at different stages of development.

The Montessori Lab School serves students from PreK through eighth grade and is recognized as an AMS Pathway Accredited School. The Constructivist Preschool serves children ages three to five and provides a developmentally grounded early childhood experience rooted in inquiry and hands-on learning.

Families at Bramble join one campus with two learning pathways connected by shared expectations for strong instruction, thoughtful environments, and community connection.

Our Mission

The Bramble Nature Campus provides a unified early childhood and K-8 experience that includes both our Constructivist Preschool and the Montessori Lab School. We prepare students to grow as independent, curious, and responsible members of their community. We offer hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and inclusive practices across all classrooms. We create prepared environments where every student builds strong academic skills, develops social and emotional confidence, and learns to care for themselves, one another, and the natural world. 

Our Vision

The Bramble Nature Campus will serve as a model for high-quality, child centered public education.  Our Constructivist Preschool and Montessori Lab School work together to support strong teaching, clear systems, and healthy school culture. Students learn with purpose, and teachers grow through ongoing study and reflective practice. The Bramble Nature Campus uses its nature scape to strengthen learning, connect students to the environment, and support real world problem solving.  Our school stands as a training and learning site where Montessori principles, constructivist practices, and current research meet to support student success.

As an AMS Pathway Accredited School, the Montessori Lab School meets national standards for Montessori implementation and quality. Accreditation reflects credentialed teachers and ongoing review.
